The toughest human endurance race
The SCOPE charity is now £2,000 better off thanks to your generous donations to our triathlon charity. I completed the UK IRONMAN Triathlon, at the end of July, in aid of the disability charity.
The Ironman is recognised as the toughest human endurance race and I found it really hard but, at the same time, a great experience. I crossed the finish line in Bolton (after a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike ride and a 26.2 mile Marathon) in 16 hours, 26 minutes, 17 seconds, well inside the cut off time of 17 hours. Doing an Ironman is just like running a business as I had to Plan, Prepare, Deliver and Sustain. Thank you for your kind donations, this will make a massive difference to people with mobility needs and if you would like some personal or business support from an Ironman then please get in touch.
